Raza Development Fund Supports Federal Ruling on SB1070

Raza Development Fund (RDF), the largest national Hispanic CDFI loan fund in the country, has publicly lauded Judge Susan Bolton’s ruling today on SB1070, in which she issued a preliminary injunction preventing several sections of the law from taking effect.

"The significance of this ruling is crucial in that it creates a precedent in upholding the constitutional rights of all people," said RDF President and CEO Tom Espinoza. "Community development is not exclusive to building projects or lending money, but it’s also about promoting the respect and dignity of each human being and caring for our neighbor."

RDF supports NCLR and its affiliates on their opposition to SB1070, and extends appreciation to them in their continued fight to block the law from advancing in higher courts.
