Luis Granados

Executive Director, Mission Economic Development Agency

Mr. Granados has served as the Executive Director for the Mission Economic Development Agency (MEDA) since 1999. During his tenure, Luis has worked to create asset-development opportunities for San Francisco Bay Area low- to moderate-income Latino families. Luis crated MEDA’s service-integration model of offering free, asset-building assistance to MEDA’s more than 7,300+ San Francisco Bay Area annual constituents, who are primarily financially challenged Latinos. Expertise includes affordable housing, economic development, real estate/land use, economic analysis, planning process, project management, and fund management/grant making

Luis has a Master’s in City and Regional Planning from the University of California at Berkeley and a Bachelor’s of Science from the University of California at Davis. Luis is a board member of the California Reinvestment Coalition, is a member of the JPMorgan Chase & Co. Community Advisory Board and sits on the board of the National Association of Latino Community Asset Builders.
