
Mr. Granados has served as the Chief Executive Officer for the Mission Economic Development Agency (MEDA) since 1999. During his tenure, Luis has worked to create asset-development opportunities for San Francisco Bay Area low- to moderate-income Latino families. Luis crated MEDA’s service-integration model of offering free, asset-building assistance to MEDA’s more than 7,300+ San Francisco Bay Area annual constituents, who are primarily financially challenged Latinos. Expertise includes affordable housing, economic development, real estate/land use, economic analysis, planning process, project management, and fund management/grant making
Luis has a Master’s in City and Regional Planning from the University of California at Berkeley and a Bachelor’s of Science from the University of California at Davis. Luis is a board member of the California Reinvestment Coalition, is a member of the JPMorgan Chase & Co. Community Advisory Board and sits on the board of the National Association of Latino Community Asset Builders.
