SENIOR DIRECTOR OF UNIDOSUS AFFILIATE SUPPORT

Raza Development Fund, Inc. (“RDF”) is a Community Development Financial Institution (“CDFI”) formed in 1999 by UnidosUS, (formerly, National Council of La Raza), the country’s largest and longest-serving Latino civil rights and advocacy organization. RDF was created to advance economic opportunity, social mobility, and racial justice, especially for the Latino community. As a CDFI, RDF is uniquely situated as a support corporation to UnidosUS’ nearly 300 community-based affiliate organizations across the U.S. This RDF-UnidosUS relationship allows us to align our financing tools to a broader set of strategies targeted at combating systemic inequity at its roots.

Since inception, RDF has directly invested over a billion dollars, leveraging many billions more, in the areas of education, affordable housing, healthcare, social services, and social entrepreneurship nationwide. Our investment strategy includes an ultra-high touch and value-added approach to supporting Latino owned and controlled organizations that are closing education, health and wealth gaps for low-income people and communities.

Across RDF, our teammates care deeply about the success of our clients. To that end, we bring more than just capital to the table – we make key connections, provide valuable advice, design and lead structured financings, and deliver innovative solutions to our partners.
