Brian Champeau

Sr. Director of East Coast Region

Brian Champeau, Senior Director of East Coast Region, joined RDF in 2004; he works with leading housing developers, providing pre-development, acquisition, bridge, construction, and permanent financing for affordable, preservation, transitional, and special needs multi-family housing projects and commercial re-developments.  Mr. Champeau previously served as Director of the Phoenix office of the Local Initiatives Support Corporation, where he managed all technical assistance and lending activities; and as a Community Development Lending Officer with Bank of America, where he focused on deal structuring, underwriting, and lending to non-profit organizations.

He served as Director of the New York City Community Development Association; and began his career as a Project Manager for the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development.  Mr. Champeau is a former US Peace Corps Volunteer in the Philippines; and has an M.A.in public finance from New York University’s Wagner School of Public Policy.
