Eliana Lozano

Investment Associate

Eliana Lozano works as an Investment Associate serving Raza Development Fund’s New Markets Tax Credit program. She joined the RDF team in December 2023. She is responsible for leading the underwriting and closing of tax credit investments that aligns with RDF’s impact and strategy goals. The role will work externally with borrowers and financing partners to vet investment opportunities; provide technical assistance; conduct due diligence and financial analysis; draft credit memoranda; present and defend recommendations to credit committees; and oversee the documentation and closing of transactions.

Prior to joining RDF, Eliana worked at JPMorgan Chase as an Associate in the Digital Marketing team. Eliana received her MBA from the University of Michigan Stephen M. Ross School of Business. While there, she completed an Open Access Fellowship at Hunt Capital Partners, worked with Inicio Ventures as a Senior Venture Fellow, received a Toigo Foundation Fellowship and completed an independent study focused on understanding the early-stage capital raising process for U.S. based Latina founders.

Before embarking on her graduate degree, Eliana received her B.S. in Health Sciences for the University of South Florida. During her time at USF, she worked as a Peer Financial Educator with the university’s first flagship financial literacy and education program and as a Coordinator of Programming and Traditions with USF Student Government. She also served as a Site Leader and participant of the Bulls Service Break Immigration service trip volunteering at La Union Del Pueblo Entero in the Rio Grande Valley, Texas area.
