RDF Moves to its Roots in South Phoenix, the Heart of the Community: Join Us To Celebrate!

It’s time! We’ve been sharing the news and construction updates over the last year, and the time has finally arrived. We are moving to our new headquarters in the heart of South Phoenix.

As a national CDFI nonprofit, RDF’s mission is to responsibly invest capital into the community and we recognize that in order to do that, we must be where the community needs its capital. For us, South Phoenix more than made sense. It brought us back to our roots, where the inspiration for a Hope Fund, now RDF, was given life.

You’re invited to a community Grand Opening.

RDF Program: Ribbon Cutting, Mural Dedication & Blessing at 10am

Join us for a ribbon cutting, blessing of our new building and words from Tom Espinoza, RDF’s President & CEO, and Danny Ortega, Jr. RDF’s Board Secretary. Together, we will admire and officially dedicate our beautiful Mestizo Mural, painted by local muralist Martin Moreno, honoring our Latino heritage and traditions.

After the dedication, we’ll enjoy wonderful entertainment and celebrate as a community. Then stick around to eat, connect and shop from local vendors.

We’re hosting our Grand Opening in conjunction with the South Central Mercado, an outdoor popup marketplace, proudly sponsored by RDF, connecting the community with local South Phoenix businesses. Head over to RDF’s new parking lot to before and after the RDF program.

As you walk up and down the parking spaces, you’ll meet local business owners and artists. Grab homemade snacks, candles, t-shirts and jewelry.

Browse the beautiful artwork. You may even find the perfect piece to take home with you. Enjoy great tunes from the DJ and other entertainment that might make you dance a little.

By supporting small businesses, you support an entire community. For many owners, their small business is the sole or main income for their family. Together, we can help our community thrive.

We look forward to seeing you at our community Grand Opening!
